Our Client
Founded in 1998, Ashbridge Property Group has grown into one of the UK’s leading property investment, development, and management firms.

With over 150 staff operating across residential and commercial portfolios, the business is known for its long-term approach to investment, operational excellence, and strong relationships with institutional partners.

As the company expanded, leadership recognised that aging systems were holding back productivity, collaboration, and talent retention - especially in a market that increasingly values speed, flexibility, and remote capability.
Challenge
Ashbridge was operating on legacy, server-based systems that made real-time collaboration difficult and tied teams to physical offices. Staff often had to travel to head office to access files or attend meetings - an inefficient model in a property industry where time is money and responsiveness is key.

The leadership team also faced growing challenges with:

-
Hybrid working - Remote access was clunky and not scalable
-
Security & compliance - GDPR concerns grew as staff used personal devices
-
IT overhead - Server maintenance, on-premise hardware, and support costs were increasing
-
Productivity gaps - Information was siloed, and time was being lost to manual tasks
They needed a system that would reduce friction, support mobile teams, and streamline operations - without compromising security or data integrity.
As a result of Future Matrix, we’ve been able to adopt a smarter, more efficient way of working. Our processes are now automated and simplified, allowing our operations team to focus on tasks that add value to the business.”

How We Responded
We moved Ashbridge Property Group to Google Workspace, creating a secure, cloud-first environment built for scale and mobility.

Over 10TB of data was migrated from legacy Windows servers into a structured Google Drive ecosystem, tailored to departments, roles, and regions. Staff were issued Google Chrome devices to ensure secure, fast access from anywhere - reducing dependence on office-based infrastructure.

To drive adoption, we delivered a full change management programme and partnered with the internal IT team to roll out in-house training and support. Google Meet replaced in-person meetings, reducing travel time while improving engagement across geographically dispersed teams.

We also implemented Google Apps Script to automate repetitive administrative processes - freeing up valuable time for high-impact work. With servers retired and support demand reduced, Ashbridge quickly saw significant cost savings and operational improvements.
